Since 2010, Nasir Energy Saving Lamp has been manufacturing compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs)—spiral, lotus, and U-shaped—ranging from 5 W to 65 W, supplying both domestic and business sectors.
Nasir Energy Saving Lamp, located in Gorai, Mirzapur, Tangail, Bangladesh, spans 125 acres and shares this facility with several other key Nasir Group divisions, including Nasir Glassware, Nasir Opal, Nasir Starch, and Nasir Printing & Packaging. This integrated manufacturing environment allows for operational synergies across various sectors.
It’s the first facility in Bangladesh to produce CFL bulbs entirely—from glass tubes and filaments to phosphors, electronic components, and caps—using automated, modern machinery. The plant is engineered for 40,000 lamps per day, supported by a partially automated production line with rigorous quality control and nationwide warranty .
The manufacturing setup includes advanced machinery, glass tube processing, automatic bending and sealing, mercury injection, electronic ballast assembly, powder coating, and printing. Equipment sourced from countries like China, Germany, Italy, and the USA—reflecting international-standard production. Quality assurance focuses on lumens, color temperature, color rendering index, and ballast performance—all in line with global standards.
The operation of Nasir Energy Saving Lamp Industries Ltd. helped lower import costs by supplying local assemblers, supporting national energy-efficiency goals.
